Caritas-Spes express condolences and gratitude to our colleagues

The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation carried out one of the largest attacks on the Sumy region, specifically targeting the city of Konotop with Iranian Shahed drones.

Yulia, a social worker from the Kharkiv-Zaporizhzhia Diocese of Caritas-Spes Ukraine, was in her apartment with her two young children when a powerful explosion shattered their windows. Fortunately, their lives are not currently at risk, though the stress from the events has been significant.

We express our deepest condolences and extend our gratitude to our colleagues who, despite the threats of war, continue their vital mission and provide assistance to those in need during these challenging times.
