No matter how many challenges life gives them, Iryna and Taras Zilinsky face them together. Because of constant shelling, the family from Kherson, along with their pets, had to move to Mykolaiv at the end of 2022.
For 21 years, Iryna has supported her son in everything he does, and Taras never gives up, even with his diagnosis – Down syndrome. This experience did not break Iryna instead it inspired her to get special training to work with children with disabilities.
Watch the story of the Zilinsky family and their experience in the Step Forward project in the video.
