At the age of 35, Anatoliy Sobkevych from Zhytomyr region has taken part in a number of major military operations. He helped to liberate Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Kherson regions from the enemy.
In 2025, Anatoliy was forced to end his service due to a severe injury to his hand. Doctors were cautious when assessing the chances of restoring the function of his arm. However, over time, the first positive results appeared – Anatoliy began to move his hand again. A major role in his recovery is played by his wife, Antonina, with whom he has been married for 13 years. Together they are raising two children and supporting each other every day. The family has become the veteran’s main source of strength on his way back to an active life.
The entire Sobkevych family decided to take part in our project. Here they worked on their recovery together with people who have similar experiences and received socio-psychological support from specialists.

Veteran’s Family is a project that brings together veterans’ families through habilitation camps for all family members. It creates a safe space for psychological support, shared living experience, and restoring inner resources.
