As part of the psychosocial protection project, a training course was held to improve the skills of psychologists

From January 27 to 29, a training session was held in Bryukhovychi, led by professional lecturer and practicing psychologist Yuliya Bazilyvska for psychologists working on the project “Services for the Protection and Psychosocial Support Services for Vulnerable Ukrainian Children, Youth, and Adults. Participants gained tools and knowledge necessary for stabilizing clients in prolonged stress and enhancing resilience in adults and children. Specialists also had the opportunity to share practical experiences and receive professional advice on issues arising in practice, such as how to help cope with loss, deal with trauma, and address grief in both adults and children.

Additionally, psychologists learned how to manage the challenges of war, seek resources for their work, and focus on self-renewal as they help others, restore motivation to people. These are very important topics in modern conditions, when Ukrainians face stress and threats to their lives every day.

We thank the lecturer and participants for the valuable knowledge and wonderful learning atmosphere. We also express our gratitude to our partners Caritas Österreich, NACHBAR IN NOT, Caritas Schweiz, and Caritas Zagrebacke Nadbiskupije for their support of the psychosocial health of Ukrainians.
