HOPE: Humanitarian Operations for Protection and Evacuation

An emergency initiative supporting the most vulnerable people in Ukraine’s conflict-affected regions. The project helps evacuated Ukrainians regain a sense of stability, restore their inner strength, and believe that even after a difficult journey, it is possible to start again.

Project duration:March 2026 – March 2027

The project is implemented with the support of Caritas Italiana and Caritas-Spes Ukraine, in cooperation with Save Ukraine.

Project Objectives:

  • Ensure the safe and timely evacuation of vulnerable people from high-risk areas in Donetsk, Kharkiv, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
  • Ensure the safe reception of evacuated beneficiaries and provide them with access to psychosocial support, medical assistance, and long-term recovery solutions.

single parents

persons with disabilities

low-income families

older adults (60+)

large families

Location: Zhytomyr Region, Ukraine.

Programme: Each stabilization and rehabilitation camp lasts 30 days. The project will implement 12 camps over the course of one year.
