Festive and Creative Initiatives for Children: Rivne, Zamllynne, Rozhyshche, Caritasyk, and “Phoenix” Center

The initiative included three main directions: celebration of Children’s Day in Rivne, Zamllynne, Rozhyshche, and Caritasyk; a festive event at the “Phoenix” rehabilitation center; and a summer creative studio “Caritasyk.” The goal was not only to bring joy, but also to provide emotional support and create a space where children could feel cared for and unlock their potential. Activities included games, entertainment, creativity, and communication.

Duration: 

Festive events: 4 days, preparation – 1 month
Event at the “Phoenix” center: 1 day, preparation 1 week
Summer creative studio “Caritasyk”: 3 months, classes twice a week

Beneficiaries:

  • Children from low-income families
  • Children with disabilities
  • Children from the rehabilitation center
  • Participants of the summer creative studio

Volunteer Team:

13 active volunteers responsible for preparation, organization, hosting of events and creative
activities, and engaging the community

Results:

  • Over 500 gifts distributed to children
  • Series of festive events held in 4 locations
  • Children received emotional support, positive experiences, and attention
  • Children developed creative skills and self-expression in the summer studio
  • Initiatives encouraged the growth of the volunteer movement and attracted new
    participants
