Project S.T.A.R.T (Skills – Training – Action – Results – Transformation)

Duration: June 1, 2025 – May 31, 2026
The S.T.A.R.T. project, “Support for Micro/Small Businesses and Employment for Displaced Households in Ukraine - Phase II,” is being implemented with financial support from Catholic Relief Services (CRS) and in partnership with Caritas-Spes Kyiv.
The project provides for two main areas of assistance:
1. Employment assistance:
- Individual career counseling.
- Support in the job search process, resume and cover letter development.
- Organization of interactive group sessions with career counselors.
2. Support for local microbusinesses:
- Training for those who have a business idea, have recently started their own business, or want to revive a business that has suffered as a result of the war.
- Mentoring and consulting support.
- Opportunity to receive a microgrant ranging from $1,000 to $5,000 for those who have completed training and submitted a business plan (on a competitive basis).
