Our Story
After attending the “Youth – A Hope for Change” camp, Katia was given the opportunity to organize an initiative. She reached out to her classmates, and together they decided that children who had lost their parents in the war were most in need of support. That became the beginning of something much bigger. Friends, classmates, and other compassionate individuals soon joined — and before long, a team of like-minded volunteers came together at the Caritas-Spes Kyiv center. We wanted to bring a spark of joy to children during a difficult time — and our first event proved that together, we can do more.
That’s how the children’s club was born. Then came the summer camp. And eventually, the idea to create a club for the elderly. We realized that not only children need a warm, caring space — but so do older people, so they can stay active, meet friends, and find happiness.
Who We Are Today
Number of volunteers: 7. Today we are a team that truly believes small actions create big change. Together, we build a space of joy, support, and opportunity — for children, youth, and the elderly.

To unite hearts around kindness. To bring mercy where it’s needed most. To make the world more humane — through meaningful everyday actions.
What Motivates Us
We are inspired by unity in a shared goal and the sense that each of us brings mercy into the world. What matters most is seeing the grateful eyes of our beneficiaries and knowing we don’t just help — we change lives. That’s our strength.
