We are a team that nurtures love and compassion for everyone in need.
We believe that great things begin with small steps.
We are open to all — regardless of faith, nationality, ethnicity, or worldview.
Who We Help
Our care reaches beyond the city of Lutsk to the entire Volyn region. We support:
- Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs);
- Large and low-income families;
- Elderly people living alone;
- Homeless individuals;
- Children and youth with disabilities and developmental disorders (autism, Down syndrome, etc.);
- Orphans (support for 5 institutions in the region, over 700 children);
- Infants from orphanages;
- People with disabilities;
- Children with cancer and HIV.
Our Team
- 19 full-time staff members
- About 100 volunteers, most of whom are students of Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University
(partnership through a cooperation agreement and dual education model) - Students from the Faculty of Practical Psychology complete their internships with us
Our Projects and Focus Areas
- Volunteering in Action – focused on university students
- Caritas-Spes Young – focused on working with teenagers
- Inclusive Volunteering
- “Share it” Integration Space
- Caritas-Spes Lutsk Early Childhood Center
- Nazareth Center (day center for children and youth with autism spectrum disorder)
- Inclusive Café “Warmth in Coffee” (youth with Down syndrome)
- Community Kitchen (free lunches for vulnerable people with disabilities – 100 meals per week)
- Summer Day Camps for vulnerable and underserved children and youth (over 400 participants annually)
- Ongoing Sports Programs (football, floorball – Caritas-Spes Lutsk Cup)
- As part of the Protection Project, we run a Safe Space for Children in Lutsk and conduct outreach visits to remote areas of Volyn region, providing psychological support, speech therapy correction, and case management
- Cultural and Educational Development, including excursions, creative workshops, and cultural events

Our motivation is love that inspires. It moves us to think globally and act locally. We want to see a kinder world, and we begin with something simple — being close to those in need.
