REMARKET — Restoring and expanding rights and opportunities through market access and sustainable economic transformation in Ukraine

The project is implemented by Caritas-Spes Ukraine with financial support from: the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, If! Foundation (IF), Caritas Switzerland, and technical support from: SPARK, Caritas Austria, Cordaid, Trocaire.

Project geography: Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr and Mykolaiv regions.

Project period: August 2024 - July 2027

REMARKET —is a program aimed at restoring and strengthening local markets in Ukraine by supporting the development of small businesses, enhancing vocational skills and employment opportunities, and promoting the economic resilience of communities. The program focuses on three high-potential sectors: beekeeping, garment manufacturing, and bakery production, as well as related value chains.

Project objectives:

• To support the development of micro and small enterprises through the provision of targeted business grants;
• To help entrepreneurs improve their knowledge and business processes;
• To enhance the professional skills of employees and job seekers through vocational education and training programs;
• To support employment through career guidance and job placement assistance.

Project components:

• BUSINESS SUPPORT - Targeted grants for active micro and small enterprises, combined with business training. This component is designed to stabilize operations, increase productivity, and strengthen market positioning through investments in production equipment and the development of managerial capacities.

• PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT - Reskilling and upskilling courses aimed at strengthening professional competencies, combined with career guidance and support throughout the job search and employment process. This component enhances competitiveness in the labor market and improves access to sustainable livelihood opportunities. It supports both employment and self-employment.
